Who We Are & Why We Exist

Mission — AI for Myanmar

To build open, equitable AI systems in the Burmese language that empower every student, researcher, and community in Myanmar — regardless of resource constraints.

Myanmar is home to over 54 million Burmese speakers, yet the language remains severely underrepresented in modern AI. We exist to change that — creating foundational tools, datasets, and models freely available to the world.

By bridging natural language processing, vision-language systems, and educational technology, we build AI that reflects the richness of Myanmar's culture and linguistic heritage.
